Bridgeway Transitional Living Program
Bridgeway Transitional Living Program is not a shelter it is home that assists homeless women and their children in learning the skills needed to remove the barriers standing in the way of their success and their ability to be self-sufficient. Bridgeway is located on the north side of Sheboygan, WI on bus routes, near schools and shopping districts. The building itself has six family rooms and three communal bathrooms, which residents and their families can use. There is a common area with couches and an entertainment suite for the families to relax in. All residents eat a family style dinner in a large, modern kitchen and communal dining area. A fenced in back yard complete with play structure and toys lets the kids get some fresh air and exercise and a small craft room allows families to have time together in creativity.
The Farmers Market
The Farmer's Market makes available fresh native products directly from farmers to residents. Working to help local farmers remain vibrant, educate the community on healthy eating, and provides a social experience that helps build community.
