Jason Bump
Farmers Market Coordinator

(920) 457-7272 ext 111

Jason, originally from Denver, Colorado, learned to grow food from his mother and has been passionate about food sovereignty ever since. He and his wife grew produce for a local Colorado farmers market for five seasons in an urban setting, utilizing various spaces. He also has experience working and volunteering at a nonprofit CSA farm and a food hub. Jason teaches backyard food production and composting using Permaculture principles. He recently moved to Sheboygan with his wife and dog Lily and is working on their second Permaculture food forest. They were drawn to Wisconsin by its dairy farms, farmers market, and Lake Michigan. Jason has family ties to Wisconsin, as his mother and grandparents were born here. He is known for his “Midwest goodbye” and is eager to connect at the market.

Debbie Bump

Debbie Bump
Farmers Market Assistant

(920) 457-7272 ext 111

Originally from Denver, Debbie brings two decades of event expertise to the SCIO Farmers Market. As our Farmers Market Assistant, she’s the go-to person at the information tent and a vital link for our vendors, ensuring everything from sales tracking to compliance runs smoothly. When she isn’t at the market, Deb is likely practicing permaculture gardening with her husband, Jason, or busy training, playing or walking her two dogs—a lively new puppy and a seasoned senior. For Deb, SCIO is where her love for flowers and fresh produce meets her knack for organization.

Claudette Brandell, Case Manager II

Claudette Brandell
Case Manager II
(920) 457-7272 ext 115

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Claudette is a native of Sheboygan but has also lived in Alaska. She loves living by the lake and takes advantage of the many places to hike nearby. She is mom to three daughters- two who are living and one who has passed on. Claudette intimately understands grief and the trauma that accompanies losing a child as well as the challenges one faces as a result of that loss. She is also a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and thoroughly enjoys everything about being a “gamma”.

Claudette graduated from Lakeland College with Psychology and Criminal Justice degrees. Helping others, especially women and children, has always been her motivation and passion. After the loss of her daughter, she took a break from the social service world to focus on her healing journey. She recently returned to Bridgeway part time to continue working with homeless mothers and their children.

Lillian Kinch

Lillian Kinch
Case Manager I

(920) 457-7272 ext 115

Raised in Sheboygan, Lillian served in the Air Force as a medic and relocated from Wisconsin to Florida to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. She has worked in education as well as crisis work in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties. She is especially proud to be a part of SCIO’s faith-based mission in the role of Case Manager.
Lillian brings both professional experience and personal understanding to her work, shaped by firsthand knowledge of the challenges surrounding financial and social barriers as a single parent.  She recognizes how hard it can be to ask for help and how overwhelming it can feel to navigate available resources. This perspective drives her passion to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and help others feel supported in taking the first step toward care and connectedness.
Lillian is a mother of two boys, ages 2 and 10, who take most of her time, but she remains hopeful for quiet moments to get lost in a good book. She enjoys the arts and music as therapy and loves sharing that appreciation. Daily meditation is an important part of her self-care practice and helps guide others in finding their center during stressful times.
Being in challenging situations forced her to advocate for herself, and it is Lillian’s deep hope to empower women to advocate for themselves as well as for their families. She believes in helping others not just in the moment, but in a way that equips them with the tools and confidence to thrive—much like the saying, “Give a person a fish, and you feed them for a day; teach them to fish, and you feed them for a lifetime.”
